We called Old Republic and the technician came and replaced the motor, which was all we needed, He didn't try to talk us into a whole new system. Read more Posted on Google Racheal Yarbrough 15 days ago Had a hot water pipe leak under my home called orhp 2 days later plumber comes out to say he can't do work until.water restoration company cleans up the water. Turns off my water completely and says u can't use ur water. Water restoration isn't covered so paid out of pocket plumber came back after 3 days to tell me all the pipes need to be replaced and he will need to bust my bathroom wall open to be able to get to the hot water pipe. I said hold on no way called orhp who said the plumber had authorization to fix just the pipe that was leaking but plumber Insisted he had to replace all of the pipes... I called back and requested another plumbing Co who came out next day and said yes we can fix it and said I will be at ur house at 10 am to fix next day still no water after 16 days of waiting and waiting... will I renew my policy with orhp! NO... I will go with another company... no I'm sorry what can I do to keep u as a customer nothing!!! Not even a credit of 5.00.. with a company who charges an 85.00 trade call fee.... wow what a not good company!!! My AC went out on a Sunday and it was not looked at until Wed or Thursday. It really would be nice to call and have someone out here same day or next day to address the issues. In these days of poor customer service, I want to express my gratitude to Old Republic Home Protection for their great service. I called to report a problem with my oven and found the automated phone system intuitive and efficient. It was the first time I was able to take care of a problem without waiting for a live person. They addressed my problem in one day and fixed it in a week. The service rep Jonathon was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend ORHP to anyone looking for a home warranty company. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Old Republic Home Protection. We bought a house, and it came with the purchase price of the home for the initial year. We were reluctant to renew because we were not sure if we would get good service after the initial period the policy covered with the home purchase, but the home we bought was very nice but also very old. So, we decided to renew it just for one year to see how they treated us. Let me tell you that they actually do what they say they will do, and you don't have to go back and forth and argue with them to get the services done. I highly recommend Old Republic Home Protection, as we have had several things come up that were covered and they honored all of them. The trade call seems a bit high, but after a claim is covered you realize what a true bargain it has been all along! We will renew every year now because they have proven to be honest and reliable. What more could you ask for? We have had our home warranty through ORHP for the past year and have not had to call in for repairs until today. Our garbage disposal was making a humming sound and wasn’t working. I logged into the ORHP site to request service, and was pleasantly surprised that the system gave me a "tip" on how to fix the humming noise BEFORE I submitted a request for service. I took the tip and actually fixed the problem myself. I was very pleased to see that, as a home warranty provider, you helped me avoid a cost (no matter how small) by giving me a tip to fix the problem and avoid submitting a service request. Thank you! I have a renewal coming up, and I think this one experience helped me realize that I can trust ORHP for our home warranty needs.
