Das steckt in der Premium-Edition: Mit der Premium Edition erhaltet ihr bis zu 5 Tage Vorabzugang, mit dem ihr Starfield schon ab dem 01. September spielen könnt. Obendrein ist mit „Shattered Space“ das erste Story-Addon enthalten, das zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt veröffentlicht wird.

Ihr könnt die Premium-Edition entweder digital kaufen und erhaltet dann die Zusatzinhalte inklusive des Hauptspiels oder ihr könnt von der Standard-Edition auf die Premium-Edition upgraden. In dem Fall bekommt ihr die Zusatzinhalte ohne das Hauptspiel, das dann separat erworben werden muss.

Das Upgrade auf die Premium-Edition ist sowohl digital als auch physisch erhältlich, wobei sich der Inhalt der Editionen unterscheiden kann. In der physischen Version ist bei teilnehmenden Händlern ein Steelbook-Display sowie der Constellation-Patch enthalten.

Das steckt in der Constellation-Edition: Bei der Constellation-Edition handelt es sich um die Collectors-Edition von Starfield. Sie ist nur physisch erhältlich und enthält das Hauptspiel als Download.

Die Starfield-Uhr soll laut Todd Howard, Game Director und Executive Producer für Bethesda Game Studios, eine Verbindung mit eurem Smartphone herstellen sowie Benachrichtigungen anzeigen können. Die Uhr überträgt allerdings keine Anrufe, unterstützt keine Handydienste und verfügt nicht über einen Touchscreen.
