Outfit #1: Neutral Printed Pullover + Neutral Pants
Pair neutrals with neutrals for an easy look! But, to make it more visually interesting, go for a top with a print made of all neutrals. This black sweater with cream stripes is a great example of that, but any print will work, like a fair isle sweater, for example!

I LOVE this sweater! It’s super cozy and because it’s oversized, it goes well with leggings, like I show in THIS post. I can also pair it with slimmer, medium wash boyfriend jeans and these slim straight leg cords. Find the sweater HERE. I wear size XS as it’s quite oversized.

Outfit #2: Colored Printed Top + Jeans + Cardigan
This one is SUCH an easy casual winter outfit to pull together! It’s stylish and looks like you tried harder than you did. Gotta love those kinds of outfits, haha!

I’ve shown this outfit before, but I personally love it so much that I had to show it again! This top is a great addition to a wardrobe. The green works well for lots of different skin tones and coloring, and the material is flowy and relaxed, not stiff. I love these kinds of plaid shirts! Find it HERE. And, in plus sizes HERE. I wear size S.

Outfit #3: Neutral Pullover + Black Jeans
I’m digging the minimal styles like this these days, but you can definitely use a sweater that has more details, like a cable knit sweater or a faux wrap v-neck sweater. What’s awesome about having a prompt is that you can use it as a template to get ideas going and then make the outfits your own with your own pieces!

BTW, these pants are a new favorite of mine. They aren’t denim, rather, they’re twill. They are STRETCHY, soft, lightweight, and COMFY. I like that they hold their structure and shape without feeling stiff or constricting. They are a wide leg cut, but they come in a bit right under the hip, which is what I prefer and recommend to women with hourglass and pear shapes or just generally curvy hips. Looking for a pair of wide leg pants that comes in under the hips helps give you shape instead of tenting out and widening you out at curvy hips.** Find these pants HERE. I wear size 6.

Shop the Outfit:
Sweater: Nordstrom (exact—wearing size S)
Pants: Kohl’s (exact—wearing size 6)
Sneakers: Nordstrom (exact—wearing size 8.5)
Earrings: Amazon (exactwearing 30mm)
Necklace: Nordstrom (
exact; nearly identicalbut way more affordable!)
